VEH11376 EPDM RADIATORHOSE 1" 3FT
EPDM RADIATORHOSE 1" 3FT
Engineered to withstand extreme cooling system pressures and intense engine bay heat, this 1" Inside Diameter (ID) EPDM Radiator Hose is built for reliable coolant and water transfer. Constructed from high-grade EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) synthetic rubber, this hose features standard knitted or braided textile reinforcement to prevent expanding or bursting under stress. EPDM is the automotive industry standard because it naturally resists heat, ozone, and environmental weathering, ensuring your cooling system doesn't experience premature leaks, hardening, or cracking. Pre-cut to a convenient 3-foot length, it is perfect for custom engine swaps, industrial machinery, and standard automotive radiator or heater core connections.
Key Features:
* Reinforced Structural Wall: Embedded with a high-tensile synthetic fabric weave to handle high cooling pressures and prevent swelling or bursting.
* Electro-Chemical Degradation (ECD) Resistant: Specially formulated to resist the internal electrical currents that cause standard rubber hoses to erode, weaken, and fail from the inside out.
* Extreme Heat & Cold Tolerance: Remains highly flexible and structurally sound across brutal temperature shifts, preventing the rubber from becoming brittle or soft.
* Universal Fitting System: Slides smoothly over standard 1-inch metal or plastic barbed fittings and secures tightly with standard worm gear or T-bolt hose clamps.
* Ozone & Environmental Shield: Highly resistant to engine oils, grease, dirt, salt, and direct ozone exposure, drastically extending its service life compared to cheap alternatives.
